Project 2 Proposal
Directions:
Thoroughly read BOTH project 2s for Hypothesis Testing. Then decide which one you will do.
Which project did you decide to do (circle one)?
- Hypothesis Testing 2A
- Hypothesis Testing 2B
If you are doing 2A:
- Where did you find your article? If you found it on the Internet, include the URL.
- Write a brief summary of your article. USE THE BACK.
- How do you plan to collect your data? Answer the following.
- Do you plan to do a survey or do you plan to get data from the Internet?
- Explain, your sampling technique. The choices are systematic, cluster, stratified, or simple random (from Chapter 1 in the Blue Text).
If you are doing 2B:
- Write a BRIEF summary of your project. USE THE BACK.
- Will you collect data or will you make up statistics (like the sample mean, etc., as is done in some of the lesson 9 homework problems)
Please fill out the following errespective of your choice of IIA or IIB:
- I am testing ONE Population Proportion Mean (Circle One)
- State the two hypotheses in WORDS.
Ho:
Ha:
- State the two hypotheses mathematically:
Ho:
Ha:
- If you are testing one population proportion, define, in WORDS, p and p'. If you are testing one population mean, define, in WORDS µ and (xbar).
