PREFACE TO THE STUDENT
A knowledge of circuit theory or experience with circuits is not
required for this class. You should expect the lab material to be
presented accordingly. Some people in your lab may have experience and
others may not; this is not unusual in this kind of course, and nothing
can change it. If you are inexperienced you may have to do more work
than someone else with experience. It is recommended that you study the
circuit building tips and the glossary and thouroughly read each lab
before you come to class to reap the maximum knowledge from the
experience. Do not depend on your instructor too much as there may be
many people in the lab who need help as well.
Your lab book should include a pictorial diagram and a schematic
diagram for every circuit that you construct. Your lab book should also
have an equipment list for every lab that includes your lab table
number and all available equipment numbers.
