Lesson 9 Introduction

Goals: After completing Lesson 9, you should be able to:

  • understand hypothesis testing, in general.
  • understand and use hypothesis testing for a single population mean, population standard deviation known.
  • understand and use hypothesis testing for a single population mean, population standard deviation unknown.
  • understand and use hyothesis testing for a single population proportion.
  • understand the Type I and Type II Errors.
